what types of speakers does the club have?
We bring in professionals from a variety of companies and marketing specializations, including digital marketing, search engine optimization, event planning, experiential marketing, and personal branding. From Fortune 500 companies like Amazon and Google to small Orange County startups like Gigasavvy and Ytel, marketers from all areas in the industry have come to share their experiences, insights, and advice with our members.
are there any major, academic level, or GPA requirements?
No, all majors and academic levels and standings are welcome! The Marketing Association is an organization for UCI students of all backgrounds who have an interest in marketing.
is there an application or interview process?
No, all that's required is a membership fee!
How much is membership?
Membership for the entire year is $25 (*there are special discounts at the beginning of the school year). Our membership fee goes toward funding our meetings, events, transportation, and club merchandise—all the money goes back to you! While your first meeting is free, if you do not end up paying for a membership, each meeting thereafter will cost $5.
